family, peace and calm to us all. Alina and mom by dich was recommended to me by anon-y-mouse - as she said, "its one of the most wonderful portraits i have seen on deviantART, with the age-old mother and child, but twisted in a way. the mother caring, but the child looking away, even at so early an age". personally, i think this is a very sweet, calm and peaceful photograph. we all can see a different meaning here, and i think all of us can relate, and enjoy this particular, lovely photograph. the love of the mother, cherishing, caring, protecting her babe from the horrors of the world - but the child already questions, wonders, ponders.


do you shoot digital or film? natural lighting? artificial? (i'm trying to get into portraiture and like knowing how things are done)
